Why Freedom of Association Matters

Freedom of association and collective bargaining support sustainable business growth by fostering high-trust workplaces where workers are healthier, more skilled, and productive.

Facilities with active worker representation and collective bargaining agreements report better occupational health and safety standards according to ILO.

#2

By 2023, 155 countries have ratified ILO Convention No. 87 on Freedom of Association, and 167 have ratified Convention No. 98 on Collective Bargaining.

#3

Unions and collective bargaining result in a more committed, productive workforce with less absenteeism, lower turnover, timely delivery, and retained clients.
